  • Pastor Tim Cook

    SENIOR PASTOR

    Pastor Tim and Robin have been married for more than 40 years and have three adult children, a daughter-in-law, and one very special granddaughter.

    He became a follower of Jesus Christ and was called into the ministry early. He has served churches in the Tri-county area and NC for nearly 40 years.

    He is passionate about preaching the Word of God and making disciples who make disciples and connects with people of all ages.

    Pastor Tim earnestly desires to pour all he has learned from years of walking with Christ, the study of the Word of God, and ministry to the Body of Christ, into the people of Wassamassaw.

  • Pastor Kent Wilson

    ASSOCIATE PASTOR AND WORSHIP LEADER

    Pastor Kent began serving at Wassamassaw Baptist Church in August 2017. In addition to being the Associate Pastor, Kent is also the worship leader responsible for the Music Ministry. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 2002.

    He is currently enrolled in Covington Theological Seminary.

    Pastor Kent and his wife, Missy, have been married for over 22 years and are blessed with four wonderful boys, Chandler, Chase, Christian, and Caleb.

  • Pastor Mike Fisher

    MINISTER OF OUTREACH AND YOUTH

    Pastor Mike Fisher was called to serve as Outreach Minister, with a special focus on Youth Ministry, in October 2025.

    He holds a Bachelor of Ministry degree and brings over 23 years of dedicated experience in church leadership, including organizing and directing youth events, evangelistic outreach, revival meetings, and serving as pastor of a local church in Wyoming.

    Pastor Mike and his wife, Beth, have been joyfully married for 19 years and are the proud parents of four children: Christopher, Abigail, Emilee, and Jonathan.

  • Dr. Chris Hanley

    MINISTER OF CULTURAL ENGAGEMENT

    Dr. Chris is a retired military physician and has been a follower of Jesus since his early teens.

    He has been a teacher and mentor to children and youth his entire adult life.

    He and his wife, Amanda, have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

  • Megan O'Sullivan

    MINISTRY ASSISTANT

    Megan joined the staff in December 2020. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University.

    God has been using Her creative talents to help the church in various ways.

    She enjoys photography, website design, and other creative pursuits, which have come in handy since joining the church staff.
