Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do I need to dress up to attend? A. Dress comfortably–our members and guests attend in anything from shorts and shirts to suits and ties. Whatever you feel comfortable wearing, you won’t feel out of place.
Q. Are there Sunday activities for my preschooler or children? A. Excellent Bible activities are provided for preschoolers and children, birth through grade 5, during morning worship. Student programming for grades 6-12 are also available.
Q. Do I need to bring a Bible to worship? A. A Bible is helpful for you to use during the message portion of the service for reference, but it is not totally necessary as scripture references are projected onto the screens. Pastor Rogers normally preaches from the English Standard Version (ESV).
Q. What is Wassamassaw’s “style” of music? A. In terms of music, we don’t have a “style” that we stick with. We do a mixture of Traditional Hymns, choruses, and praise songs. Our desire is that our musical worship be uplifting and create a sense of anticipation for the teaching time in the service.
Q. How do I find out about what is happening at Wassamassaw Baptist Church? A. Check out our Ministries, Media, & News sections from the menu above. Or visit us on Facebook.
