From our Pastor’s Heart

March 2020

The month of March will bring some exciting changes in the life of our church. Steady progress is being made on our new church worship center and classroom building. Very soon the interior of the building will be complete, and work on the exterior will soon begin. It is projected that the building will be completed sometime this summer! Thank you for the patience you have shown throughout the process.

Our new building will open up new doors of opportunity as we reach out to our community with the good news of Jesus!

A few weeks ago, I shared my priorities for the coming year. Prayer must be our number one priority in the life of our church. We must be a praying church. We will never be the church that God intends for us to be apart from focused prayer. I have called upon all our Sunday school classes and small groups to emphasize prayer as they meet together weekly. Prayer must be the priority during every deacon meeting, committee meeting, and ministry team meeting. Every Sunday morning, we focus on prayer.
Every Sunday evening, we break up in “prayer huddles” and pray for our church, our community, the lost, and our nation. Prayer aligns our will with God’s will and equips us with God’s power!
I am asking you to pray for revival in your personal life and in our church as a whole – that we may experience the presence of God like never before. God will send revival if we meet the conditions

He has set forth in the Scriptures —

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14
So, brethren, let us pray!
