Norman Rogers, Senior Pastor

FamilyNorman and Cindy have been married for over thirty-eight years and have been blessed with 4 wonderful children and their spouses, and 11 precious grandchildren.

Education:  Norman graduated from Dillon High School, Columbia International University, Dallas Theological  Seminary, and also earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Columbia International University.

Experience:  Norman began his ministry at Wassamassaw Baptist Church in January 2010. He has over 37 years in pastoral ministry. He also served as pastor of Oakdale Baptist Church (Fairmont, NC), Clarendon Baptist Church (Alcolu, SC) for 17 years, and Saluda Baptist Church (Saluda, SC) for 10 years.

Hobbies: Golf, walking with Cindy, and spending time with children and grandchildren.

Passion: Leading God’s people to reach our community and the nations with the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Kent Wilson, Associate Pastor

Family: Kent and his wife Missy have been married for nineteen years and are blessed to have 4 wonderful boys, Chandler, Chase, Christian, and Caleb.
Education:  Kent is currently enrolled at Covington Theological Seminary. He is working towards his Masters in Ministry.
Experience:  Kent came to Wassamassaw Baptist in August of 2017. He previously served as pastor of Fellowship of Praise (Santee, SC) and Coastal Shores Baptist Church (North Charleston, SC). He has also served as Youth and Children’s Pastor of Saluda Baptist Church (Saluda, SC) and Worship Pastor of First Baptist Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). Kent was ordained to the gospel ministry at Miles Road Baptist Church (Summerville, SC), by Dr. Jim Palmer, on November 24, 2002.

Hobbies: Golf, Hunting, Singing.  Spending time with Missy, watching his four boys play sports, and Georgia Football. Go Dawgs!!

Passion: To sing the praises of our Lord and Savior, and to see the lost come to repentance through the powerful gospel of Jesus Christ.

Keith Holley, Student Pastor

Family: Keith and his wife Tammy have been married for over twenty years.  They have been blessed with two teenage girls.

Experience: Keith has served as an adult Sunday School teacher, Discipleship director, Sunday School Superintendent, Child Safety director, deacon and youth worker.  He has also had a passion for short term international missions, both medical and ministerial, serving in Iraq, Southeast Asia and the Dominican Republic.  He has been ordained in the gospel ministry for over 7 years.
Hobbies: Relaxing with my wife and girls, hunting, fishing, and Alabama football. 
Passion: Helping God’s people study God’s word in order to gain a deeper understanding of what the Bible truly says about Christ our savior.
Texas Reardon, Pastor of Evangelism & Discipleship

Family: Tex & his wife Sandy have been married for 18 years.  It is a second marriage for both.  Tex was previously married for 45 years to Marjorie before she passed and they had 4 children of which one is deceased.  Together Tex & Sandy have 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Education:  Tex graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Experience: Tex was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 2005 by Senior Pastor Dr. Charles Page of First Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC.  He was previously ordained as Deacon of First Baptist Church, West Palm Beach, FL in 1968 where he served two terms as Chairman of Deacon’s which was a particular honor in the church history of being asked to serve two terms.  Tex was also blessed to work for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for more than 35 years serving in various various capacities, mostly in Crusade Ministries.
Hobbies: Reading, watching college sports, and spending time with Sandy.
Passion: Evangelism and Discipleship.  The Great Commission tells us to make disciples not converts and the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ helps us accomplish that opportunity in our lives.
