Missions

Below is a list of the missions, we as a church, support which helps to fulfill our vision in reaching the world for Jesus.

  • In 2016, God directed our church to partner with the Church of the Harbor in Baltimore, MD.

With our partnership, we committed to praying daily for the church, participating in short-term mission trips, and providing financial support.

We continue to be dedicated to this mission effort as the church makes an impact for Christ in that community.

  • The Ladies and Men’s Ministry of WBC have taken part in this outreach Ministry involving a home dedicated to sharing Jesus Christ with men and women through a 13-week program to attain victory over their problems.

We support through prayer, Bible Studies, fellowship events, and financial giving.

  • Our Church supports this ministry which is involved in the many efforts to better the lives of the Nicaraguan people and sponsor the children who live there.

The main purpose is to proclaim the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a church, we get involved by praying, giving, and going on mission trips.

  • “Taking the good news to every language, every tribe, every nation”

As a church, we set aside the month of December to support the International Mission Board through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

This is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions.

  • The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is the primary way we support mission efforts in North America, which includes the United States, Canada, and other U.S. territories.

All the gifts support Southern Baptist missionaries serving the United States and Canada.

Our church supports this cause through our annual offering in the Easter season.

  • For the month of September, our church collects an offering for the Janie Chapman State Missions.

“The Janie Chapman offering is about 'soul saving,’ sharing Christ here and around the world.”

The offering collected goes towards various causes such as foster care and adoption ministries, collegiate ministries, summer ministries, church plants, and partnerships.
